Why You Ask?

The Quiet Waters Dog Activities Volunteers are once again preparing to launch its annual fund drive – The 7th Annual Howl-O-Ween Barkin' Bash on October 25, 2008. 100% of the proceeds of this event go directly to the Quiet Waters Dog Park (Anne Arundel County’s first dog park) and Dog Beach for maintenance and improvements. In addition to providing much needed support for the park, other benefits of the Barkin' Bash are as follows:

  • To provide a fun outlet for dog owners and their pets

  • To spread awareness of issues that are relevant to owners (safety, laws, facilities, goods & services, etc.)

  • To provide an outlet for pet-related vendors to talk about their products and services

  • To provide a venue for various non-profit organizations (rescue groups, shelters, etc.) to illustrate the work they have accomplished and their future needs.
